Dodging those tax time scams...Tax season is upon us once again and scammers are out in full force hoping to get a slice of your hard earned pay.  So during the next few weeks, please be especially cautious with information related to your federal income taxes and banking information.  There are plenty of bad guys out there willing to take advantage of your hectic schedule and use emotional triggers in order to accomplish their agendas.  For more information, please read our article on how to protect yourself from common taxpayer scams.

Way to go... The ASU's OneCard Office recently received a 2017 ACE Award from BankMobile Disbursements.  This award recognizes institutions across the nation who lead the most efficient disbursement programs with at least a 90% electronic disbursement rate.  We are very proud of our OneCard Office and overjoyed that they strive to provide innovative and convenient services for our students.

Have you heard about Meltdown and Spectre?  These are not the latest installments in the Bond film series.  They are computer vulnerabilities that allow hackers to read the memory on your computer and see what information is being processed or used.  Eeek...feeling exposed yet?  No need to fret, we got you covered.  Simply relax with your favorite cup of joe and take a gander at our awesome article.. 
Transformations across campus... With two beautiful, brand new buildings on campus, there are a lot of departments moving and making changes to new campus office locations or new-to-you locations.  The Department of Space Planning and Utilization needs your help in updating these changes for our Facilities Inventory Report.  We make this really simple with our online Space Change Request Form.  It's fast, easy, and allows us to keep the inventory up-to-date before our annual certification.
The end is near... Well maybe not quite yet but it's never too early to start planning.  Before you know it, summer will be here and year-end deadlines will be right around the corner.  Be that as it may, we hope we have caught you at a good time to start assessing your needs.  In the craziness of summer, we know things can get hectic and want to ensure your purchases get processed and received in a timely manner.  We are here to help so give us a call or stop by our office today.

The mileage reimbursement rate for travel has been increased to $0.545/mile effective January 1, 2018.
Submitting W-9's just got a whole lot easier.  All vendors have to do is simply fill out the Vendor Application online, attach their completed W-9, hit submit, and presto!  It's as easy as pie and faster than a hot knife through butter.
