A critical appraisal of "Exercise-therapy and education for individuals one year after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction: a pilot randomized controlled trial"

Abstract

This report is a critical appraisal of an article of research primarily on the feasibility of a test to examine knees after ACL reconstruction and the risk of developing osteoarthritis. Secondarily, if a lower leg focused intervention is more effective or a trunk focused intervention is the better option. This critical appraisal is to examine the reliability and validity of this particular study, and whether there is something that could be done better to present the information effectively.
