Stephanie Socha Collection

Mildred Raiborn was a published poet from San Angelo. In 1953, Mildred became the youngest ever poet laureate for the state of Texas. Prior to achieving this title, she hosted a radio program on KGKL and wrote as the society editor for the San Angelo Standard Times. The book entitled, "Panorama on a Star" can be located in the holdings of the Porter Henderson Library and West Texas Collection at Angelo State University.
