Abstract

Cissy Edmond (1908-1996) was a long-time resident of San Angelo and a member of the Pocahontas Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Cissy Edmond conducted genealogical research on many families, including Austin, Bell, Broaddus, Deyer, Doyle-Posey, Garland, Hardin, Heslep, Homan, Hudson, Kelly, Murray, Nettles, Berwick-O’Brien, Runnels, Skinner, Smith, Stamps, Swint, and Word. The collection contains genealogical material, books, pamphlets, and periodicals on the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
