Abstract

In 1944, J.B. Morris became District Executive of the Concho Valley Council Boy Scouts of America, serving in Del Rio and San Angelo. During that time he collected a number of early San Angelo BSA history, including role sheets, pictures, and stories. He received two of the highest awards in scouting during his lifetime, the Silver Beaver and the Good Shepherd. This collection consists of newspapers, newspaper clippings, interviews, photographs, manuals, guides and scouting memorabilia.
