Mrs. J.Q. Counts Photograph Collection

Mr. and Mrs. J.Q. Counts were early settlers of West Texas. Mrs. Counts was the daughter of Lindsey Houston McDorman, who settled in Coke County in the late 1880’s. The collection contains two ca. 1900’s photographs found in Miscellaneous Photographs Box # 2, one of the Rodman family at the N.S. Bledsoe Grocery and Feed Store and another of Lindsey Houston McDorman at a church conference.
