    Abstract
Mrs. Mary Wilbanks worked for the Veteran’s Administration and kept a list of the mothers and fathers who had lost sons and daughters during World War II. Mrs. Wilbanks stayed in touch with the mothers for a number of years, keeping the addresses of the women up-to-date until 1988. The collection consists of a 3X5 card file containing a list of Gold Star Mothers and Fathers of World War II in Tom Green County, Texas. In some cases additional information on some of the soldiers and obituaries of some parents are included.
