Fort Concho Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Collection

The Fort Concho Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas was organized 29 April 1945 by Mrs. W.W. Carson and devotes itself to the preservation of Texas History. The collection consists of scrapbooks compiled by the society 1945-1991; booklets of annual meetings, 1893-1895 and 1931-1999; 2 boxes of business records, 1945-1992; DRT Newsletters from the 1990’s; and one book, Fifty Years of Achievement: History of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.
