Salvador Montoya Guerrero Collection

Salvador Montoya Guerrero was born in Cuidad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico moving to the Texas as a child during the Mexican Revolution. He grew up in San Angelo, Texas attending San Angelo Junior College and serving in the 348 Amphibious Engineer Combat Battalion during WWII. After the war, he settled in Odessa, Texas where he began careers in broadcasting and local politics.
